What does a website actually cost?

In the United States, a quick one-page site runs 750 to 1,500 dollars, a fully custom one-page site 1,900 to 3,000 dollars, a full business site 6,500 to 8,500, and a portal or web application 10,000 to 25,000. There is a separate cedi price list for West Africa: a quick one-page site runs 1,500 to 3,000 cedis and a custom one-page site 3,000 to 6,000 cedis and a business site 9,500 to 18,000. Pricing is by package, not by the hour, so the number does not move because a build took longer than expected.

Where in the world do you work?

Anywhere. The work is remote, the stack deploys to a global edge network, and the studio already runs production systems in two markets as different as the United States and Ghana - different payment rails, different connection speeds, different price expectations. That range is the point: a studio that has only ever shipped into one market has not had to prove it can handle another. Quotes are issued in US dollars or Ghana cedis, and other currencies can be arranged. The only genuine constraint is time zones, which is worth checking before either of us invests effort.

How long does a build take?

A landing page is three to five working days. A full business site is two to three weeks. A store is four to eight. A portal or web application is six to ten. Those are faster than most agencies quote for the same scope, because the stack is reused rather than rebuilt each time. The clock starts when your content is in hand rather than when you sign - copy and photographs are what run late, not code - and it is one build at a time, so there is occasionally a wait for a start date. A platform subscription is different again: nothing is being designed or built, so it is days.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes. Every build above the landing-page tier includes an admin area where you can edit text, images, pricing and posts without touching code. You are never locked into paying us for a wording change.

Question 5

Do you use WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Accepted Answer

No. We build custom. That means the site loads faster, carries no platform subscription of its own, and can do things a page-builder cannot - such as logins, dashboards and automation. If you specifically need WordPress because your team already runs it, we will tell you honestly whether that is the better call.

Who owns the site when it is finished?

Accepted Answer

If you commissioned a build, you do. The domain, the code and the hosting account are yours and you can take them to another developer at any time. If you are on a platform subscription, your domain is yours, your data is yours and exports on request whether you are leaving or not, anything bespoke you commission is yours, and the platform code stays ours and is licensed to you while you subscribe. That licence is why you pay a modest monthly fee rather than the thousands the same system costs outright. You can buy out at any point.

What is the difference between a package and a platform?

The difference is how you pay, not what you get. A package is paid once and you own the code at the end. A monthly plan is customised to your business and live in days rather than weeks, with the code licensed to you while you pay. Currently covering trade and export, schools, and property management. Presence is 30 dollars a month plus 450 to set up; Operations is 50 a month plus 1,000; Platform, which adds a client portal, is 70 a month plus 1,300. The same three tiers can also be bought outright as a one-off build. Ghana pricing is set separately in cedis rather than converted. On cash alone, monthly works out cheaper for roughly the first seventeen years on the dollar list and the first two on the cedi list; buy outright when owning the code matters more than the monthly total, and you can buy out at any point with half of what you have paid credited against the price.

How do payments work?

Fifty per cent to begin and fifty per cent on launch. Larger builds are split across milestones. US clients pay by card or bank transfer; West African clients can pay by Mobile Money or bank transfer. Elsewhere, bank transfer or card.
