What does a website actually cost?

In the United States, a one-page site runs 800 to 2,500 dollars, a full business site 2,500 to 6,000, and a portal or web application 15,000 and up. In Ghana, a one-page site runs 2,500 to 6,000 cedis and a business site 6,000 to 18,000. Pricing is by package, not by the hour, so the number does not move because a build took longer than expected.

How long does a build take?

A landing page is about one week. A full business site is two to four weeks. A portal or web application is six to twelve weeks. The single biggest cause of delay is waiting on content - copy, photographs and logins - so we ask for those up front.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every build above the landing-page tier includes an admin area where you can edit text, images, pricing and posts without touching code. You are never locked into paying us for a wording change.

Question 4

Do you use WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Accepted Answer

No. We build custom on React and Cloudflare. That means the site loads faster, costs a few dollars a month to host instead of a platform subscription, and can do things a page-builder cannot - such as logins, dashboards and automation. If you specifically need WordPress because your team already runs it, we will tell you honestly whether that is the better call.

Who owns the site when it is finished?

You do. The domain, the code and the hosting account are yours. There is no proprietary platform holding your site hostage, and you can take the code to another developer at any time.

How do payments work?

Fifty per cent to begin and fifty per cent on launch. Larger builds are split across milestones. US clients pay by card or bank transfer; Ghana clients can pay by Mobile Money or bank transfer.
